ANN WALLACE DEROSSETTE
Hi! I am Ann Wallace DeRossette, a graduate student at the University of Southern Mississippi pursuing an MA in Communications.
In 2024, I graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Communication, with an emphasis on Public Relations and Advertising from The University of Southern Mississippi. During my undergraduate career, I minored in social media content and strategy, which allowed me to take courses in social media design and strategies. This experience helped me develop skills in media relations, event planning, social media management, and marketing strategy. I also obtained a Leadership Certificate from the university by taking University Studies courses and studying abroad.
During my undergraduate career, I was an active student leader, holding positions in various campus organizations: Tri Delta, Phi Epsilon, Eagle Connection Campus Tour Guides, the Luckyday Scholarship Program, Order of Omega Honor Society, Southern Style Orientation Team, and Black Eyed Susans Women's Leadership Honorary. During my senior year, I was awarded the Pine Belt Chapter of PRAM's annual scholarship for an undergraduate Public Relations student. I was inducted into the Southern Miss Student Hall of Fame that same year.
In my free time, I enjoy traveling, reading, cuddling with my dog, Ellie, and spending time with family and friends! Check out my resume below!
